He has worked in a wide variety of sectors both in the UK and abroad, ranging from heavy civil engineering to fast track motorway reconstruction, building works and latterly managing the civil engineering maintenance at Heathrow Airport. One of his strengths is delivery of high pressure contracts through detailed planning and resourcing jobs correctly.

Hugh is responsible for the planning, resourcing and running of the works. The execution of works on a race track are similar to those of an airfield – completion of works in a defined working window with zero defects at handover.
